Method for obtaining nitrogen fertilizer is characterized in that it affects water-air mixture pumped through nozzle at speed of 1 l/min into microwave discharge zone, plasma torch of low-temperature plasma, with power input of 1.2 kW, operating frequency 2.45 GHz, with rate of air pumping through plasma torch of 50 l/min. Use of aqueous solution of nitrous and nitric acids with concentration of nitrite ions NO2- 20–30 mg/liter to ensure growth and development of agricultural plants.

EFFECT: inventions make it possible to simplify method by using available natural sources of raw materials, to reduce energy intensity of production, to increase environmental safety of production and final product.
