FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical measurement equipment, and specifically to the measurement of electrical parameters of two-terminal networks, used as sensors of physical processes (temperature, pressure, level of liquid and granular media, etc.) at industrial facilities, vehicles, as well as in the systems for measuring the level of filling rocket and space equipment. Device for determining the level of dielectric substance contains the main and backup level sensors, standard, two identical measuring channels (main and backup), three identical level meters. Blocks that make up the device and their connection are shown in Fig. 1. Technical result is provided by triplication and bonding the level detectors with duplicated measuring channels, as well as using the built-in diagnostic system, which performs the reliability analysis of the performed measurements, and, in the case that any measurement is not reliable, a sign of uncertainty is displayed. In this case, all measured and calculated values of the values are stored in the memory of the functional blocks of the device.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the measurement reliability of the parameters of the filling level sensors, removed by means of a long cable communication line from the measuring instrument, as well as reliability growth of the device, which consists in protection from failure processes in computing devices, and from failures of the electronic component base in the measuring channel.
