METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING THE LOCATION OF THE PIPELINE PASSAGE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01V1/00 G01V1/28 G01N29/04 G01N29/50

Abstract RU 2650747 C1

FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring technology and can be used in order to find the place of passage and the depth of water supply and heating network pipelines, gas and oil pipelines, which are located underground. Method for determining the location of the pipeline is proposed, which comprises the installation of at least one acoustic sensor onto the ground at the intended location of the pipeline passage, forced excitation of acoustic oscillations in the pipeline at the arbitrary distance from at least one acoustic sensor, reception of the acoustic pulse signal from the acoustic signal source by means of the acoustic sensor, processing of the acoustic signal with determination of the sequence of acoustic signals. Processing of the sequence of acoustic signals is carried out by means of autocorrelation methods with determination of peaks of the autocorrelation function, with determination of the maximum value of the peak of the autocorrelation function from certain values of the peaks of the autocorrelation function. Then, at least one sensor is repositioned to the new location of the most probable pipeline and the steps from receiving the acoustic signals to resetting the acoustic sensors to the new location of the most probable pipeline passage the required number of times is repeated. Location of the pipeline passage is determined according to the installation site of the sensor, from which the maximum value of the peak value of the autocorrelation function is obtained.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and reduced laboriousness of measurements.
