SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of development of means having fire resistance, the ability to absorb electromagnetic radiation of a wave in the range of ultrahigh frequencies, compositions used for applying uniforms to military personnel on a textile basis, clothes of the civilian population in order to protect from incendiary weapons, to apply to metal surfaces to reduce the radar visibility of equipment in the microwave-EMR range. Fire-resistant radar absorbent composition is described for applying to textile materials, metal surfaces, the components of which are contained in the following quantitative ratio, in parts by volume: solvent: water – 250; binders: potato starch – 50, glass liquid sodium – from 10 to 20; plasticizers: glycerin – 50, polycarboxylates – from 1 to 3, surfactants that do not contain phosphates and phosphonates – from 59 to 57; fillers: vermiculite expanded, fractionated with a fraction size of 0.16–0.63 mm – 150, talc – 80, zinc oxide 10, carbon-graphite mixture, powder with powder fraction size from 0,1 to 1 mm – 40.

EFFECT: composition with improved adhesion to the protected surfaces is obtained, its flame retardant properties and providing physical and mechanical properties are improved.
