FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of concealment means, to compositions absorbing electromagnetic radiation in the near infrared wavelength range used for applying to the textile base products, used to mask servicemen for the purpose of their electromagnetic camouflage in the spectrum of the near infrared wavelength range. Composition absorbing infrared radiation for applying to the surface of textile products consists of the following components (in vol. %): or liquid mineral, semi-synthetic, synthetic hydrocarbons of technical purpose in the form of multi-grade engine oil, or liquid hydrocarbons of plant origin of food purpose in the form of edible vegetable oil, or a combination of the above liquid hydrocarbons in an arbitrary ratio of 90–91 %; pigment "soot", in the form of monochrome, black, magnetic or non-magnetic mechanical toner or in the form of carbon black in the native state or in an arbitrarily taken ratio of the above substances in an amount of 3–4 %; paraffin – 5–6 %.
EFFECT: increase the strength of the coating while increasing the thermal insulation properties, ease of use and economy.
