FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of iron-based alloys used for the manufacture of parts of thermal aggregates, furnaces. Iron-based alloy contains, wt%: manganese 0.25–0.6; silicon 0.2–0.4; chromium 4.5–5.5; calcium 0.002–0.004; titanium 0.1–0.15; beryllium 0.04–0.08; hafnium 4.5–5.5; palladium 0.05–0.1; the rest being iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high thermal stability.
