FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of iron-based alloys, which can be used in production of pipes. Iron-based alloy contains, by wt. %: carbon 4.6–4.8; silicon 0.03–0.08; manganese 0.1–0.5; chromium 4.5–6.0; molybdenum 0.2–0.3; titanium 0.04–0.07; cerium 2.4–2.8; calcium 0.002–0.004; boron 0.002–0.004; nickel 3.0–3.5; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by heat resistance.
