SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of iron-based alloys used for the manufacture of parts of thermal units. Iron-based alloy contains, wt. %: manganese 5.0–7.0; silicon 0.8–1.2; chromium 4.5–5.5; calcium 0.001–0.002; titanium 0.1–0.2; zirconium 2.5–3.2; boron 0.1–0.2; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high thermal stability.
