FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical technology, namely, means for extracting physiological information from remotely detectable electromagnetic radiation, emitted or reflected by subject. Device comprises an interface for receiving data stream obtained from detected electromagnetic radiation, wherein the data stream comprising sequence of signal samples representing region of interest, exhibiting a continuous or discrete characteristic signal including physiological information, indicative of at least one partially periodic signal of vital signal, and being comprised of at least two wavelength components, transforming unit, configured to determine and provide at least one component of coefficients from at least two wavelength components of at least one signal sample sequence, wherein coefficient component is suitable for obtaining at least one signal component by applying to at least one signal sampling sequence, coefficient selection unit for selecting one component of coefficients from at least one coefficient component, signal component unit and signal processing unit to provide desired physiological information from signal component. Method for extracting physiological information is performed by means of device provided with computer-readable data carrier.
EFFECT: with this invention it is possible to reduce number of detection errors.
