SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises a first carousel for supporting a plurality of sterilization devices configured to sterilize inside of the packaging containers by electron beam irradiation, and a container transport system comprising a second carousel. In this case, the first carousel comprises a rotatable shaft, and the second carousel contains a separate rotating shaft, coaxial with the shaft of the first carousel. Invention is also a method carried out by the installation.
