SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to sterilization of materials. Emitter of electron beam for sterilization of packing material includes housing, window for exit of electrons and insert. Housing comprises a first annular channel for directing a cooling fluid, which at least partially surrounds the insert and is configured to deliver said medium. Said first annular channel is at least partially formed by an insert which is configured to form a portion of the electron exit opening, and the housing comprises at least one inlet channel and at least one outlet channel, and wherein the inlet and outlet channels are connected to the first annular channel. Also disclosed is a sterilizing device for packing material.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides effective cooling of the window for electron exit during sterilization, as well as flexible use of various cooling media.
