SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a linear actuator (10) providing reciprocating motion of the movable table (14) along the axial directions of the cylinder body (12). Linear actuator (10) comprises a guide mechanism (16) comprising a guide block (68) attached to the cylinder body (12) and provided with grooves for circulation (71, 74) formed in this block, along which a plurality of rolling bodies (56) circulate. On the opposite end surfaces of the guide block (68), a pair of closing blocks (70a, 70b) is mounted, and a covering plate of sheet material is mounted on the lower part of the guide block (68), thereby keeping the balls (56) inside the grooves for the circulation of the balls (71). Hooks (94) are inserted into the end sections of the base (92) in engagement with the closing blocks (70a, 70b), thereby closing the closing blocks (70a, 70b) and the guide block (68) into a single unit.

EFFECT: creation of a linear actuator with the possibility of reducing production costs and simultaneously increasing the productivity of the assembly by simplifying the design of the linear actuator.
