FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to armored vehicles. Armored protection includes a front, a rear armored barriers, a bottom and a roof forming a cavity, inside which a filler is placed made of obliquely oriented in the cavity layers of same or different materials preventing the penetration of destructive agents of the means of destruction. Filler comprises one layer in the form of a metal plate or several such layers set apart from each other and fixed in the cavity with a clearance(s) from the front armored barrier and/or the roof of the cavity, with an inclination towards the front armor barrier at an angle(s) ranging from 20° up to 82° to the vertical axis, with the possibility of changing the position(s) of the layer(s) in the cavity when effecting the layer(s) of the destructive agent of the means of destruction. Each layer is made with a thickness of not less than 1.5 of the diameter of the destructive agent of the means of destruction.
EFFECT: increase in the protection of armored combat vehicles is achieved by improving the design of the filler without changing the design of hulls and turrets of the vehicles.
