The lower side wall has a recess. The end wall of the protection element housing, directed towards the incoming ammunition, is bordered by a wedge-shaped protrusion. High pressure may be created in the liquid before combat use.
EFFECT: improved protection of tanks from the damaging effects of armour-piercing, sub-calibre, and cumulative ammunition.
