FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, and more specifically, to belt transmissions. Belt transmission comprises drive and driven pulleys, belt and tensioning device. Tensioning device is installed outside belt transmission loop. Tensioning device comprises a tension roller formed with flanges and an elastic member. In addition, the tensioning device comprises a beam hinged on the support, and two additional tension rollers and two resilient members. Additionally installed two tensioning rollers are connected to the belt at the master and driven pulleys respectively. Additionally installed tension rollers are placed at an equal distance from the existing tension roller. All elastic elements are located in the glasses, each of which is fixed to the beam and is able to move along its longitudinal axis perpendicular to the plane of the leading branch of the belt by means of a device for changing the rigidity of the elastic element.
EFFECT: better durability is achieved.
