FIELD: mechanical engineering, possible use when designing new belt transmissions.
SUBSTANCE: transmission includes leading and following pulleys, flat belt of closed contour and stretching device. The belt is made in form of Mobius leaf, and stretching device - in form of three spatially mounted rollers with bearing ribs, height of which equals doubled thickness of the belt. Rollers are interconnected as single structure, mounted in the section of transmission, where the belt forms a loop on idle belt branch. Leading and following pulleys are made with bearing ribs of the same height as the ones on rollers. Longitudinal axes of lower rollers are directed towards longitudinal symmetry axis of the belt at sharp angles, while the actual lower rollers are shifted relatively to one another in horizontal plane for value C=Bp.+c, where C - value of shift, Bp. - belt width, c - value of gap, 5-6 mm. Axis of the upper roller, which is mounted in upper point of belt loop, is directed at sharp angle to longitudinal axis of the belt. Bushings are freely mounted on axes of the upper and lower rollers with possible rotation, connected to bearing ribs on one side, and mounted freely with possible axial movements on other side, and spring-loaded. The upper roller is mounted with possible height adjustment, while the value of axial movements of bushings equals 2-3 times the thickness of the belt.
EFFECT: evenly distributed wear of the belt.
