FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of cable trays and cable ladders for supporting electric cables and wires. Cable tray (23, 140) is provided comprising first part (51) forming one piece having a uniform thickness, wherein the first portion forms at least first supporting surface (52) of first location (53) for accommodating plurality of cables (54) and a first portion has plurality of first through holes (15) formed by first plurality of edges (19) in the first portion, wherein at least portion of each edge (19) projects and is directed at an angle δ to bearing surface (52) of first location (53), where 45°<δ<180°, wherein entire edge (19) of at least one through-hole (15) is folded at an angle δ relative to supporting surface (52). Method for manufacturing such a cable tray is also provided.
EFFECT: invention provides the creation of a tray that is easier and simplier to manufacture.
