HIPPOTHERAPY METHOD FOR PATIENTS WITH CEREBRAL PARALYSIS IN CONDITIONS OF THE BLACK SEA COAST Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61H1/00 A61H7/00

Abstract RU 2651902 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatrics, neurology, and can be used in rehabilitation of children with infantile cerebral palsy and with psychomotor disorders. For this, in conditions of the Black Sea coast, therapeutic horse riding is conducted, mastering passive-active poses on a horse without a saddle. Treatment is carried out with a gradual increase in the child's share of participation in the performance of each posture and a decrease in the participation of the instructor and the parent throughout the course. First, during 1–2 lessons, the child is adapted to the horse – landing the child on the horse with the help of the instructor and the parent and guiding the horse in 3–5 minutes with the seated or lying child, depending on its capabilities. Then during 2–3 lessons the child at the moving step of the horse learns poses aimed at creating a common functional balance: sitting facing forward, back, sitting sideways to the left, to the right on the horse's movement, lying on the back, on the abdomen – along the horse head to her head, to the tail, lying across the horse on the stomach, on the back – head to the right, to the left on the motion. Then, during 8–10 lessons, the child is rehabilitated by repeating the above-mentioned poses with the addition of a pose: sitting facing forward on the moving trot of a horse at the end of the session for 1–2 minutes. After a therapeutic horse ride, sea bathing is carried out.

EFFECT: method provides an effective treatment of this pathology by carrying out this set of therapy at all stages of treatment.
