SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of cast iron, which can be used for manufacturing parts of furnaces, thermal units, metallurgical equipment. Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 3.0–3.5; silicon 0.5–1.0; manganese 0.4–0.6; magnesium 0.0003–0.001; aluminium 0.5–0.9; rhenium 0.2–0.3; boron 0.06–0.1; tellurium 0.003–0.008; silver 0.003–0.008; rest is iron.
EFFECT: technical result is higher heat resistance of cast iron.
