SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of iron-based alloys used in machine building. Iron-based alloy contains, wt%: manganese 0.4–0.8; chromium 0.6–0.9; nickel 1.3–1.7; molybdenum 0.5–1.0; calcium 0.003–0.008; vanadium 0.4–0.6; boron 0.07–0.11; rhenium 0.2–0.3; copper 0.7–1.1; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high thermal stability.
