SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, namely, to the composition of steels used in engineering. Steel contains, wt. %: carbon 0.23–0.33; silicon 0.05–0.15; manganese 6.0–8.6; chromium 0.5–0.9; cerium 3.5–4.0; cobalt 0.4–0.6; silver 0.02–0.03; rhenium 0.04–0.06; copper 1.2–1.6; tellurium 0.002–0.003; selenium 0.02–0.03; indium 0.02–0.03; phosphorus 0.2–0.3; iron – the rest.
EFFECT: steel has high wear resistance.
