FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to cast iron compositions, which can be used for manufacture of furnaces parts, thermal aggregates, metallurgical equipment. Cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 3.0-3.5; silicon 0.5-1.0; manganese 0.4-0.6; magnesium 0.0003-0.001; aluminum 0.5-0.9; cobalt 0.4-0.6; boron 0.06-0.1; molybdenum 0.1-0.15; silver 0.003-0.008; the rest being iron.
EFFECT: technical result is higher heat resistance of cast iron.
