FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building. Overhead conveying device for integration into an assembly plant in order to transport vehicle components comprises a support framework. Support framework has a length greater than 5 m and a width greater than 2 m. Support framework and conveying device form a conveying corridor in which the vehicle components can be transported from an intake position to a discharge position. Support framework is mounted above the floor of the assembly plant by bearing means. Free space is formed between the underside of the support framework and the upper side of the floor by the bearing means. Support framework is formed from two modules arranged one after another in the direction of the conveying corridor. Each of the support framework modules includes a lower part which at the bottom defines the cross-section of the conveying corridor.
EFFECT: larger mounting space.
