Conveying device 01 is mounted on ceiling structure 10 of the assembly plant by means of bearing means 13 in a suspended state. By means of an overhead installation of overhead conveying device 01 on ceiling structure 10 of the assembly plant, which is suitable for component assembly and/or for component transport purposes, having a free space suitable for passage and / or passage, is formed between the underside of supporting framework 04 and the upper side of the floor of assembly plant 18.
