SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method includes the following actions: transmitting by an AP (access point), an RTS frame, wherein the RTS frame carries group response information and the group response information is used to instruct the plurality of STAs to return CTS frames; receiving, by AP, a CTS frame that is returned in accordance with the group response information by STA from the plurality of STAs that receives the RTS frame; and determining by AP in accordance with the received CTS frame, that the transmission capability has been obtained.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide the ability to effectively protect data transfer between AP and multiple STAs at a relatively low control traffic, which increases system efficiency.
