SUBSTANCE: method for group transmission of data comprises steps of: performing group transmission of a plurality of data units; initialising a request counter; performing group transmission of a request for acknowledgement of reception of said plurality of data units; increasing said request counter; initialising a timer; reducing said timer; receiving response signals for said request; determining whether said response signals for said request are received from all receivers of said request; determining whether the timer has expired before receiving said signals from all receivers; and determining the status of receiving said plurality of data units based on said signals.
