FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer composition suitable for the manufacture of synthetic flooring, comprising 75-90 wt% mineral filler, 5-20 wt% polyvinyl chloride and 5-15 wt% additives, wherein at least 50 wt% polyvinyl chloride is a recyclable polyvinyl chloride, and at least 50 wt% additives is epoxidised soya bean oil.
EFFECT: invention also relates to a method of producing such a composition, the use of such a composition for the manufacture of synthetic flooring, in particular a vinyl composition tiles (VCT), and to synthetic flooring obtained from such a polymer composition, in particular a vinyl tile.
