FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: present invention may be used in turbocharged internal combustion engines. Method for increasing exhaust gas temperature is carried out in the exhaust path of turbocharged internal combustion engine (1), having sequentially connected exhaust gas cleaning device (8) and optional heating device (10). Heating device (10) in those phases in which the boost pressure is so high that a certain amount of charge air can flow into heating device (10) is supplied with air from injection line (2) of internal combustion engine (1). Air heated in heating device (10) is introduced into the exhaust path upstream of exhaust gas cleaning device (8). In the operating modes of the internal combustion engine, in which the boost pressure is not so high that a certain amount of charge air can flow into heating device (10), a specific exhaust gas from the exhaust path of internal combustion engine (1) is supplied to heating device (10). Exhaust gas flow is discharged from exhaust gas line (13) upstream of turbine (5) operating on the exhaust gas. In the case of internal combustion engine (1) being a multi-cylinder engine, at least one cylinder is connected to heating device (10) via actuator (15). In exhaust line (6a) of the multi-cylinder internal combustion engine, throttle valve (14) is installed that controls the flow o exhaust line (13) of the at least one cylinder, such that the exhaust gas or clean air of at least one cylinder is separated from the rest of the cylinder working on exhaust gas turbine (5) of the exhaust line. Device for implementing said method for increasing exhaust gas temperature in the exhaust path of an internal combustion engine, an internal combustion engine and a car with an internal combustion engine are disclosed.

EFFECT: echnical result is to increase the reliability of regeneration of the exhaust gas cleaning device.
