SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container closure, in particular to a closure with means of indicating the opening of the closure at least once. Tamper-evident closure (10) for a container comprises first portion (25, 30, 37) including inner and outer parts (25, 30), and second portion (20, 36). Outer part (30) is rotatable relative to inner part (25) from a first position in which at least part of the first and second portions are adjacent each other to a second position in which there is gap (G) there between. First portion (25, 30, 37) comprises locking means for irreversibly locking closure (10) in the second position upon first opening so that gap (G) cannot be closed, in which first portion (25, 30, 37) comprises compressible stopper (105) for sealing second portion (20, 36) and/or the container. Tamper-evident closure (10) in combination with a container.
EFFECT: tamper-evident closure is provided.
