SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to a topical composition, a method of treating pain and a method for treating migraine. Topical composition for treating pain is an oil-in-water emulsion and contains ketoprofen and oxybenzone in a physiologically acceptable carrier for topical application. Method of treating pain, including migraine, consists in applying a therapeutically effective amount of the composition to the patient on the forehead.
EFFECT: implementation of the invention enables to obtain a composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion characterised by good photostability, and also stability in freezing and thawing conditions.
