FIELD: machines and engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of reciprocating hybrid power machines. Method of operation of the machine is that when the fluid and gas are compressed at the same time, the clearance between the piston and the cylinder is increased or decreased, depending on which working medium has the higher pressure. Machine consists of a cylinder 1, made in the form of a truncated cone and located in it with a piston clearance 4, having a cone similar in shape to the corner. Piston 4 divides the cylinder 1 into a gas 2 and the liquid 3 adjacent cavities which are provided with suction 6 and 8 and pressure valves 7 and 9. With the reciprocating motion of the piston 4, the volume of the cavities 2 and 3 changes, as a result of which the gas and liquid are sucked through the valves 6 and 8 and are pumped through the valves 7 and 9. When one medium is compressed to a higher pressure than the other, the clearance between the piston 4 and the cylinder 1 is reduced, without allowing the medium to be compressed to a higher pressure to penetrate the adjacent cavity in a large amount through the gap between the piston 4 and the cylinder 1. In another version of the machine, active seals are used on the piston 4, which reduce the gap between the piston 4 and the cylinder 1 when the medium is compressed at high pressure. Improves work efficiency.
EFFECT: invention can be used with simultaneous or alternating compression of liquids and gases at a large pressure difference without their mutual contamination.
