FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, in particular to devices for testing metals and alloys, as well as composite materials and coatings for resistance to abrasive wear at low, normal and high temperatures. Installation for testing materials for abrasive wear comprises impact mechanism comprising hammer and loads, test specimen, and also comprises a percussion mechanism control system consisting of a solenoid mounted on a vertical plate, with the possibility of moving along the guides upwards or downwards by means of a rack-and-pinion transmission controlled by a step motor through a transmission mechanism, movement of the abrasive tape through the heat-insulated chamber in which the test specimen is installed, occurs when the feed roller rotates, from a drive consisting of a DC motor, a reduction gearbox, a V-belt drive consisting of a driving and a drive pulleys, wherein clamping abrasive tape is provided with rubberized pressure and guide rollers, and movement of abrasive tape is carried out by supply and receiving cassettes.
EFFECT: possibility of performing tests both in climatically low temperatures and high temperature conditions.
