SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a footwear item comprising a casing that extends lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a side edge and a medial margin and heightwise from a base to an upper end, said casing comprising yarns linked mechanically to one another and at least part of said yarns comprising at least one hot-melt filament, wherein yarns that comprise at least one hot-melt filament are distributed over all of the casing, and the shape of the casing is set by means of the melting of the yarns that comprise at least one hot-melt filament.
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring sufficient tightening of the foot with comfort.
