FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the protection of metals from corrosion and can be used in pyrolysis and other cracking processes that occur in the presence of a water pore. Corrosion inhibiting composition includes amines and an oxygen scavenger, wherein, as amines, it contains triethanolamine, or benzylamine, or tetraethylene pentamine and a volatile amine, and as an oxygen scavenger - methyl ethyl ketoxime, at the following components ratio, mass%: triethanolamine, or benzylamine, or tetraethylene pentamine 25-70; a volatile amine 1-70; methyl ethyl ketoxime 1-10; water 1-30.
EFFECT: technical result: reduction of the corrosion rate of equipment of steam cracking processes, which allows to increase the service life and the overhaul of the equipment.
