FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method of crank-connecting rod group static balancing is to remove the overbalance by removing the part of the metal on the crankshaft counterbalances. While static balancing the crank-connecting rod group, containing the crankshaft with counterweights, the connecting rod, the piston, the piston pin, the piston rings, the flywheel, and the component parts mounted on the crankshaft are assembled. The assembled group is placed on the prisms with the rolling elements, mounted in the upper part of the prism in such a way, that the mentioned rolling bodies are located between the surface of each crankshaft neck and the prism surface. The piston with the connecting rod is mounted in such a way, that it is placed vertically under the gravity action, then it is provided the location of the counterweights center and the axis of each crankshaft connecting rod neck in the horizontal plane, after which the static balance of the mentioned crank-connecting rod group is provided by removing the part of the metal from the counterweights.

EFFECT: labour intensity reduction.
