SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of intensification of heat convection and can be used in the development of electric heat convection and electrohydrodynamic heat pipes, as well as when creating cooling systems for high-voltage power equipment. In a method of intensifying heat convection between a heat convection grounded surface and a high-voltage electrode is installed with a gap in relation to them, a film composite element, consisting of interconnected electrically conductive and dielectric films. Metal coating of the element is located near the high-voltage electrode, the element itself is spring-loaded on dielectric supports and, under the influence of an electric shock, the element is put into self-oscillatory motion.
EFFECT: technical result is the intensification of heat convection.
