FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely orthopedics and traumatology, and can be used to correct sagittal balance in patients with congenital dislocation of the hips. Conduct a method of radiation diagnosis. Next, you view and process images of the pelvis and lumbar spine in a computer program in the mode of two parallel windows. In one window there is an image of the pelvis and lumbar spine in the frontal plane, in the other – in the sagittal plane. Calculate the angle PI, which is the true angle PL. To do this, center (1) of the symphysis is identified on the image in the frontal plane, with a single point of center (2) of the cape of the sacrum singled out. On the image in the sagittal plane, draw line (3) through the closure plate S1 and from center (4) of line (3) lower perpendicular line (5) towards the coccyx. Then, in the image in the frontal plane, define the rudimentary acetabulum on the right hip joint, focusing on the figure "tears". Bring line (6) to the outer edge of the figure "tears". In the image in the sagittal plane, define the rudimentary acetabulum on the right hip joint in the figure "wigwam" and place point (7) on its top. Further on the image in the frontal plane, the rudimentary acetabulum on the left hip joint is defined in a similar way, being guided by the figure of "tear". Bring line (6) to the outer edge of the figure "tear". In the image in the sagittal plane is used to define the rudimentary acetabulum on the left hip joint in the figure "wigwam" and put point (8) on its top. Then, combine the resulting images into one image in the sagittal plane. In this image, connect points (7) and (8) with line (9) and mark the center with point (10). Lower line (11) from the angle formed by lines (3) and (5), and connect it with point (10). Angle between line (5) and line (11) is the true angle PI. Then, insert the value of the true angle PI into the formula for calculating the sagittal balance indices.
EFFECT: method ensures correct planning, correct surgical correction of the sagittal balance in patients with congenital dislocation of the hips, and effective and dynamic control of this surgical correction by determining the true PI angle.
