FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for treating coxofemoral joint by endoprosthesis replacement. Method involves an X-ray examination of a pelvis in a straight projection and making geometric constructs. In the skiagram according to Fig. 1 and 2 define outline of deformed cotyloid cavity and figure of tear. Two tangential lines "A" and "B" are drawn to contour of deformed acetabulum, from which perpendiculars "a" and "b" are drawn. Point of intersection of perpendiculars is defined as center of rotation of deformed cotyloid cavity "Od". Initial offset value of the deformed acetabulum is measured. Middle of its hypotenuse is found on the triangle of Ranavat, which corresponds to the center of rotation of the true cotyloid cavity "Ot". Further, the difference between the offset values of the centers of rotation of the deformed "Od" and the true "Ot" of the acetabulum is measured, and the center of positioning of the implantation bed for the prosthesis cup is corrected by replenishing the difference between the initial and true values of the offset.

EFFECT: method provides optimal selection of acetabular offset value during its deformation and determination of optimal value of required correction value of offset, center of rotation of implant cup of prosthesis cup due to geometrical constructions.
