SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for planning of acetabular component implantation in a standing and sitting position in hip replacement. Method of planning implantation of acetabular component in a standing and sitting position in hip replacement involves performing an X-ray imaging of the hip joint with capture of lumbar spine in standing position in lateral projection. PI angle is determined in a standing position. PT angle in a standing position is determined. Sacral overhang S in a standing position is determined. Hip joint is X-rayed with a lumbar spine in a sitting position in a lateral projection. In the standing position, the ischial PI angle, the ischial PT pelvic tilt angle, the ischial tuberosity deviation (O, V). In the sitting position, the PI angle, the ischial PI angle, the pelvic tilt angle PT, the ischial pelvic tilt angle PT, the sacral overhang S1, the deviation of the ischial tuberosities (O1, V1) are determined. Derived data are used to plan the implantation of the acetabular component in hip replacement.

EFFECT: method provides reducing the risk of impingement syndrome, dislocations, wear of the insert, loosening of the acetabular component and, as a result, reduces the risk of endoprosthesis revision and repeated endoprosthesis replacement due to peculiarities of measurements.
