FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy of noble metals. Electrochemical processing of gold-bearing alloy includes its anodic dissolution, followed by gold reduction at the cathode using an electrolyte. As the electrolyte, a sulfuric acid solution of ammonium nitrate and sodium chloride is used.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain gold with a high degree of purity from an anode material of various composition.
