FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. Intake manifold comprises an expansion tank and inlet passage portion (22) communicating with the expansion tank. Expansion tank has an intake air intake hole and an opening for introducing crankcase gases from the engine main body. Section of the inlet duct (22) is bent around the expansion tank and connected to the head of the engine block. Inner surface of the inlet portion includes inner peripheral portion (22a), outer peripheral portion (22b), first and second side portions (22c), (22d) and first and second curved portions (22rc), (22rd). Inner peripheral portion (22a) is on the inner side in the direction of the radius of curvature of the portion of inlet duct (22). Outer peripheral portion (22b) is spaced from inner peripheral portion (22a). Outer peripheral portion (22b) faces inner peripheral portion (22a). First side portion (22c) and second side portion (22d) are spaced apart from each other. First side portion (22c) and second side portion (22d) extend from inner peripheral portion (22a). First curved portion (22rc) is convex. First curved portion (22rc) connects first side portion (22c) and outer peripheral portion (22b), as well as second curved portion (22rd). Second curved portion (22rd) is convex outwardly from the inside of the portion of inlet duct (22). Second curved portion (22rd) connects second side portion (22d) and outer peripheral portion (22b). Outer peripheral portion (22b) includes first inclined portion (bc), second inclined portion (bd), and lower portion (bb). First inclined portion (bc) and second inclined portion (bd) are close to each other. First inclined portion (bc) and the second inclined portion (bd) extend from the first curved portion (22rc) and second curved portion (22rd). In the section, first inclined portion (bc) has either a straight or curved shape. Curved shape is convex. In the section, second inclined portion (bd) has either a rectilinear or a curved shape. Curved shape is convex. In the section, bottom portion (bb) has one of two forms, which are a rectilinear shape orthogonal to the direction of the radius of curvature, or a shape convex outward from the inside of the inlet channel part in the direction of the radius of curvature. Engine with a manifold is disclosed.

EFFECT: technical result is to prevent loss of intake air pressure.
