FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine includes case, crankshaft located in case, cylinder block located on case at least with one cylinder and at least with one piston connected to crankshaft. Head of cylinders is connected to cylinder block. Multiple oil channels are located in case, in cylinder block or in head of cylinders. Oil tank is connected at least to one of the oil channels and includes the first end section and the second end section opposite to the first end section. The first end section is located closer to head of cylinders than the second end section. Outlet oil hole is located in the second end section of oil tank for oil supply from oil tank to case, to cylinder block, or to head of cylinders. Inlet oil hole is located in oil tank for oil return from case, from cylinder block, or from cylinder head to oil tank. Outlet hole for case gases is located in the first end section of oil tank. Channel for case gases connects the outlet hole for case gases with external area of engine. The first section of channel for case gases passes from outlet hole for case gases in direction from head of cylinders; the second section of channel for case gases passes from the first section of channel for case gases in the direction towards head of cylinders so that when the first end section of oil tank is located vertically above the second end section of oil tank, case gases in oil tank flow from oil tank to outlet hole for case gases, to the first section of channel for case gases, to the second section of channel for case gases and to external area of engine. Inlet oil hole is located in oil tank so that when the first end section of oil tank is located vertically below the second end section of oil tank, case gases in oil tank flow from oil tank to inlet oil hole and to external area of the engine. Versions of the engine design are described.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of case gas discharge in case outlet hole for case gases is locked with oil due to location of oil tank at an angle relative to the horizontal.
