FIELD: sport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports equipment and can be used on climbing walls and other devices for automatic insurance of climbers and other athletes. Stationary safety device contains a vertical cylinder fixed to the floor with a slightly volatile liquid (for example, engine oil) in which a piston with vertical draft is placed. Movable roller, with a rope passed through it, is mounted on the vertical rod on the top, one end fixed to the bracket, the second end of the rope, also passed through fixed rollers on the bracket, is fixed on the athlete's safety system. Piston consists of two disks with passing windows and bushings on a vertical axis, ending with a hard tip. In the bushing of the upper disk an oblique groove with a horizontal axis is made and below the lower disc the guide ring is fixed and a glass with a thrust bearing placed in it, adjusting washers and a spring, holding the upper disc with a gap above the lower one. In the proposed device, the drain assembly at the bottom of the cylinder allows the sludge to drain into the liquid, and the clamp with the stop holds the funnel on top of the cylinder and prevents the piston from leaving the cylinder.
EFFECT: use of a spring loaded upper disc stabilizes the speed of the athletes' descent with different masses, which improves the quality of the training process.
