SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of equipment for intelligent control in the online mode of high-voltage electrical appliances of the intelligent power system, and in particular to the internal video control system of the gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). System and method for internal video monitoring of the GIS device are proposed, which are characterized in the fact that they comprise the video sensor, the video server, the module of intelligent power supply and the background video monitoring system. Video sensor is mounted on the body of the GIS device and is used to monitor the open and closed state of the internal conductor of the GIS device in real time, to convert the monitored data into the digital network signal and to send this signal to the remote video control system for co-management.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide direct control of the open/closed states of the switchgears, as well as to prevent failures during the operation of the GIS device.
