FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics. Method of capturing audio signals involves receiving two audio signals with a relative separation between them, respectively, from two microphones, determining the capture orientation of the audio signal based on the microphone location information. Using the audio capture orientation information, playback of audio signals which must be processed is facilitated, based on the capture orientation so as to synchronise the use of two audio signals for playback. Routing of the two audio signals is performed taking into account the orientation of the playback device, and the audio signals are then mixed. Device comprises an orientation sensor, microphones, a speaker, an ADC, a DAC, a processor, memory, a display, a transceiver, a user interface, a camera. Device also comprises a microphone order generator, an audio signal orientation generator, a mixer, a channel selector.
EFFECT: technical result is providing the possibility of recording and reproducing spatially separated audio signals depending on the orientation of the device.
