FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of a railway track, and specifically to water-collecting and drainage structures for collecting and draining water from the main site of a railways roadbed. Water-collecting and drainage system of the road foundation contains interconnected sections and sections made of composite material from trays with covers, and also located under the base of the road with a down-grade toward the trays geomembrane with geotextile laid on it. Geomembrane is fixed between the tray and the cover, forming a gap closed by the geotextile to allow water to pass into the tray.
EFFECT: as a result, a system for collecting and drainage of water has been created, which completely assures collection and removal from the main site of the roadbed coming from above through the ballast water prism.
