SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the images reproduction for preview method and device. Method comprises the following steps: determining that the captured by the camera during the first period of time image contains face; if the captured during the first period of time by the camera image contains face, enlargement of the face on the image captured by the camera during the second time period; reproduction of the enlarged face image as the image for preview on the display screen; photographing the captured by the camera image in accordance with the taking photographs command, upon the taking photographs command reception. By the enlarged face image reproducing, the method allows user to clearly view the his face details when taking photographs using the selfie monopod.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of the image enlargement during data processing.
