FIELD: metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to identifying material resources made of electrically conductive materials, for example, parts of machines, weapons, aircrafts. Method comprises applying an information grid to the part and obtaining an individual matrix by performing an electrochemical reaction on the mark surface when the current is supplied to the part and to an electrode tool made in the form of a vacuum chamber of dielectric material with a working part of a metal foil connected to a low voltage source, and installed in the vacuum chamber of the tip electrode system, connected to a high voltage source for injecting electron flow through the metal foil. Electron flow of is focused directly on the surface of the mark by means of the tip electrode system with a counter electrode connected to the high voltage source, wherein all the tip electrodes of the system in the vacuum chamber are directed to the point on the surface of the identification mark, and the marked part is moved in a two-coordinate plane by means of a random number generator.
EFFECT: invention provides enhanced manifestation of identification features on the identification mark.
