FIELD: identification methods; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of identification, and can be used for the complex product final identification, in particular, from a metal, mainly flat. In the method after the information grid and the alphanumeric code application, on the object surface applying at least 3–5 unique welds with all of their defects and stochastically scattered on the identification mark point contacts obtained in the arc discharge mode. In the identification process, performing comparison of all non-reproducible results of wave and point contacts application on the object, obtained as a result of the arc discharge with similar information in the database. In the device, as the power source a welding power source is chosen, the device is equipped with the control unit and the electrodes along the information grid surface random movement generator, and the electrode itself is equipped with the dielectric bushing.
EFFECT: technical result consists in expansion of the flat metal objects identification means range.
