FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: system comprises a flushing fluid tank; a catheter comprising a catheter tip for insertion into a rectum or a user's stoma and for releasing flushing fluid from the catheter tip; a tubular system forming a flushing fluid passage between the tank and the catheter tip; pump configured to inflate flushing fluid from tank to catheter tip; sensor and a control system configured to control the operation of the pump in response to the measured pressure value. Sensor is configured to determine pressure in a predetermined location during operation of the pump, wherein the predetermined point is a place in the tubular system which is closer to the catheter than to the pump. Alternatively, the sensor may be configured to determine pressure at a predetermined location during operation of the pump. Predetermined place is a place in tube system, which is closer to catheter, than to pump. Sensor is configured to determine pressure in a predetermined location, wherein the predetermined location is a catheter. Determined pressure is transmitted to control system to form part of measured pressure value. Disclosed is system control method and calibration method of system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of determining the presence of flushing fluid and monitoring dosing flushing fluid from the catheter tip.
